What does the Commissioner for Victims and Witnesses do?

The job of the Commissioner for Victims and Witnesses is to keep the Victims’ Code under regular review, and is therefore not listed as a service provider under that Code. The Commissioner's role is to listen to the views of victims and witnesses, understand the criminal justice system from their point of view and to try and help improve the services and support available.
